IT'S SHOW TIME IN THE VILLAGE!

Hurst will be on show for the coming weeks, starting with the Horse Show and Country Fayre on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 June. Because the horse events have been cancelled there will be a full programme of attractions and entertainment in the arena starting at 11am each day. See inside this newsletter for a special pullout programme of the show.

Have you got a pet with the waggiest tail, the longest tail, or the most unusual name? Is it a very unusual or pretty pet? Does it look like its owner?

If so, and you have someone in your household who is 16 years or younger, then why not exhibit your pet at the Children's Small Pet Show on Sunday 24 June in the Village Hall. This is open to all children aged 16 years or under, and any pets except cloven-hoofed animals, and those kept on a farm with cloven-hoofed animals. Please see the Small Pet Show entry form.

The marquees will stay up on Willowmead Field for Jazz in the Park on Saturday 30 June when The Swamp Things will make a welcome return to provide live music. All you need to do is come with your friends, bring a picnic, wine, tables and chairs and enjoy the evening's entertainment. All proceeds will go to Hurst Football Club's new facilities.
