Improvements to Village Halls

Builders and roofers have been working hard at the Village Hall this autumn improving the structure and facilities, writes John Edwards.

With the aid of grants from the Millennium Commission and Hurst Parish Council the leaky flat roof over the kitchen and Committee Room is being replaced, the kitchen upgraded and the floors in both the Large and Small Halls resurfaced.

The work will be finished by the New Year, and I'd like to thank everyone who has supported our various fund raising events over the past year. We look forward to enjoying the new facilities in 2004.
