School Library to benefit from sale of Denis Eastwood’s books

The Denis Eastwood library of books, which was given to the Village Society with a donation to maintain it and make the books available to anyone in the parish, is to be sold. The proceeds and the donated money will be given to St. Nicholas Primary School to equip the new library.

David Shapland and Brian Thomas catalogued the Denis Eastwood library and identified a number of books to be valued before sale.

Several people have expressed an interest in buying some of the books, and offers will be accepted before the remainder are sold at the Hurst Horse Show and Country Fayre. Please contact David (0118 934 xxxx) or Brian (01xxx xxxxxx) if you would like more information about the books.
