New facilities for young people

Every Thursday from 3 April a mobile vehicle containing a recording studio, DJ decks and PA system, video-editing suite, Internet connected PCs, and video games consoles will come to the village for young people to use.

The mobile youth facility includes outside lights so that mobile skate ramps and outdoor games can be played. There is also a kitchen where hot and cold non-alcoholic drinks will be available, and craft and cookery equipment. More details about this facility will be in the next issue of the HVS newsletter and on the website www.hvs.org.uk

The dial-up transport service for young people to use on Friday evenings to reach venues such as Winnersh Showcase Cinemas has been withdrawn, and will only run during the day. If you feel strongly about the withdrawal of this evening service, please contact Councillor Annette Drake, or Wokingham Unitary Authority, and let your views be known.
