Festive Dinner Dance Opens The Party Season
Hurst Village Society's annual Dinner Dance will have a suitably festive theme on Saturday 7 December in the Large Village Hall.
"This year's event will be different from recent dances which had been held earlier in the autumn, and sometimes clashed with half term activities," said chairman David Shapland. "The hall will be decorated, and we hope people will come to enjoy a party at the start of the Christmas season."
There's a free glass of mulled wine on arrival and Penny Curry is providing a mouth-watering dinner with a seasonal flavour. It's a night for posh frocks, dinner or lounge suits, and, of course, your dancing shoes because Sue Scorer is the DJ.
Tickets to this event are £18.00, and are available from all the HVS committee members - listed on the back page of this newsletter.
